The variety of instrumentation provided by Kalyna allows the band to play a huge mixture of music. Also, unlike many other bands, Kalyna has a male and female lead singer, which doubles the repertoire of most bands. Kalyna’s variety of country and rock is quite extensive and will round-out any zabava, dance, or wedding.
Kalyna would be a great addition to your event, either as part of a stage show or a zabava or both. Kalyna will make that extra effort to ensure that your patrons are having a great time and to put together a show that is entertaining while providing music that is danceable. You can be sure that any success that Kalyna has attained is due to hard work and diligence, which has earned them a reputation as one of Canada's top zabava bands.
Kalyna plays a wide variety of music. Of course we can do all of the ukrainian wedding standards such as polkas and waltzes, as well as the specialty numbers such as a butterfly or a heel-toe. What really sets us apart from other bands is our ability to play classic rock and country and play it well. Here is a recent look at our setlist.
